Stroke Toolkits for Kids
Stroke is the No. 5 killer of all Americans, responsible for nearly one in 20 deaths. Someone in the United States has a stroke every 40 seconds. It's also the leading cause of long-term disability.
The good news is that 80 percent of strokes are preventable.
That is why we need your help! By utilizing these resources in your classroom, you can help teach children of all ages how to prevent a stroke, the signs and symptoms of stroke and what to do in an emergency. Prevention is the key and we need you!
